Nominations OPEN for the 37th Annual Business Excellence Awards!

Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to open the call for nominations for the 37th Annual Business Excellence Awards, presented by MNP LLP.  

From the snowy mountains of Sun Peaks to the ranchers of Pritchard, the Thompson-Nicola Region is home to world-class innovators that put our communities on the map. 

Small business is the backbone of the economy created by hardworking neighbours, friends, and family members. As the community continues to grow and evolve, the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce and MNP invite you to use this opportunity to nominate the people who power our region for a Business Excellence Award in 16 diverse and inclusive award categories.   

This awards program recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of businesses and not for profits in Kamloops and the surrounding areas. From April 5th to May 31st, any person can nominate any business that they feel deserves recognition for their accomplishments. Nominations can be submitted online through the Chamber’s website.  

“The Business Excellence Awards is an important program for our business community,” said Acacia Pangilinan, Executive Director of the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce. “It is an opportunity to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and innovation of our local businesses. We encourage everyone to participate by nominating a business that they believe deserves to be recognized.” 

The schedule of events for the 2023 Business Excellence Awards program are: 

• Nominee Breakfast presented by CN takes place on Friday, June 9 at the Sandman Signature Kamloops 
• Finalists Announcement presented by Prestige Hotel Kamloops takes place on Thursday, July 20 at the Tk’emlúps Arbour 
• Business Excellence Awards Gala presented by MNP LLP takes place on October 26, 2023 at Thompson Rivers University Grand Hall
