Past President of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the BC Chamber of Commerce and past Board Member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Also, he is the Vice Chair of the BC Chamber Policy Review Committee, serves on the Canadian Chamber Taxation and Economics policy committee and a long term active participant of the Kamloops policy development process.

His role as Policy Advisor for the Kamloops Chamber is to identify, and participate in creation and advancement of policies related to the business community. It also includes working with provincial and national chamber policy committees on the advancement of all policy initiatives.
