Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce Joins BC Chamber in Addressing Acute Workforce Challenges
Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its support of a new initiative led by the BC Chamber of Commerce to address acute workforce challenges. This project aims to gather insight into the workforce challenges faced by businesses and job seekers in British Columbia, and to develop solutions to those challenges.
Funded by the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction, the work will be undertaken in two phases through January 2024. Phase 1 of the project includes a survey that businesses and job seekers can fill out to help better understand the challenges faced by the workforce. The Kamloops & District Chamber encourages all business owners and job seekers to participate in this important initiative and help shape the future of work in British Columbia.
