Kamloops & District Chamber and MNP Announce Finalists for the 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards
Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce and MNP are pleased to announce the finalists for the 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards. The finalists were announced at the 2026 Finalists Announcement, held at Match Eatery & Public House, Cascades Casino Kamloops.
This year, the Chamber received a total of 210 nominations from the public across 15 award categories, representing over 64 unique businesses and organizations in the region.
A dedicated Selection Committee of 45 volunteers from the regional business community carefully reviewed and scored each nomination to determine this year’s finalists. The committee had three members per category, including past award winners, industry experts and award sponsors. Committee members will now interview each finalist to select the winners. The 16th award, the FIT Financial Business of the Year, is chosen from among all category winners and will be presented on the night of the gala.
The winners will be celebrated at the 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala on the evening of Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Thompson Rivers University’s Campus Activity Centre.
“Celebrating 40 years of the Business Excellence Awards is a pretty incredible milestone, and it really speaks to the strength of our business community. For four decades, these awards have given us the opportunity to shine a light on the businesses, organizations and people who are doing great work and making an impact in the Kamloops region. Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists, and a huge thank you to the volunteers and sponsors who make this program possible. We can’t wait to bring everyone together in October to celebrate not only this year’s finalists and winners, but 40 years of business excellence in our community.” Acacia Pangilinan, Executive Director, Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce
“The Business Excellence Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the businesses and leaders who continue to raise the bar in our community. Each winner represents the dedication, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit that makes our business community so strong. MNP is proud to support these awards and congratulate all of this year’s finalists on this outstanding achievement.” Jessy Sra, Partner & Business Advisor, MNP
