37th Annual Business Excellence Awards Winners Announced!

Kamloops – The Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the winners of the 37th annual Business Excellence Awards presented by MNP. The enchanting awards ceremony, held on October 27, 2023 in TRU’s Grand Hall, celebrated the achievements and contributions of local businesses and entrepreneurs.

The Chamber would like to congratulate all the finalists and winners for their hard work, innovation and excellence. The Chamber would also like to thank all the sponsors who made this event possible, especially MNP, the Premier sponsor, for their generous and ongoing support.

Kamloops Food Bank – Business of the Year
Sheila Minten – Business Person of the Year
Ken Christian – President’s Award Winner

The Kamloops Food Bank took home Business of the Year and Sheila Minten of Total Concept Developments Ltd was named the 2023 Business Person of the Year. Former Kamloops Mayor Ken Christian was awarded with the 2023 President’s Award, from Kate Stebbings, Immediate Past President of the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce.

“The Business Excellence Awards are a wonderful way of recognizing and celebrating the outstanding businesses and individuals who make Kamloops area a vibrant and prosperous community,” said the Chamber’s Executive Director, Acacia Pangilinan. “We are grateful to MNP and all of our integral sponsors for their partnership and commitment to supporting the local business community. We are also elated for all the finalists and winners who have shown resilience, creativity and excellence in these challenging times. They are an inspiration to us all and it was so good to be together to celebrate the magic of supporting local.”
