CanExport Community Investments 

Canadian community-level, non-profit organizations can get non-repayable grants of up to $500,000. These grants cover up to 50% of eligible expenses to help attract, retain, and expand foreign direct investment (FDI). 

Application deadline: CanExport Community Investments will be accepting applications for the 2026-27 call year from January 5 to 30, 2026. If you have questions, please send an email to communities.communautes@international.gc.ca  


AgriScience Program 

The AgriScience Program, under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP), aims to accelerate innovation by providing funding and support for pre-commercial science activities and research that benefits the agriculture and agri-food sector and Canadians. 

Application deadline: Applications will be accepted until funding has been fully committed or until otherwise announced here. The program ends March 31, 2028. If you have questions, please send an email to aafc.agriscienceprogram-programmeagri-science.aac@agr.gc.ca


AgriInnovate Program 

The program provides repayable contributions to incent targeted commercialization, demonstration and/or adoption of commercial-ready innovative technologies and processes that increase agricultural and agri-food sector competitiveness and sustainability benefits. 

Application deadline: November 30, 2025, deadline to submit a Project Summary Form. December 31, 2025, deadline to submit a full application. If you have questions, please send an email to aafc.agriinnovateprogram-programmeagriinnover.aac@agr.gc.ca.


AgriDiversity Program 

The AgriDiversity Program is a $5-million program under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP). Helps underrepresented groups participate in the sector. 

Application deadline: The priority intake period closed May 30, 2025. Please contact the program if you are considering applying. The program ends March 31, 2028. 


AgriCompetitiveness Program 

The AgriCompetitiveness Program is a $25.7-million program under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP). The Program Helps industry share information with producers to build capacity and support the sector 

Application deadline: The priority intake period closed May 30, 2025. Please contact the program if you are considering applying. The program ends March 31, 2028. 


AgriMarketing Program – Kosher and Halal Investment Component 

The AgriMarketing Program: Kosher and Halal Investment Component is offering $2 million in contribution funding over 3 fiscal years (2025-26 to 2027-28) to support the Canadian kosher and halal red meat sector for export promotion, market development and trade in Canada and abroad.

Anti-Hate Call
The Anti-Hate Call funds initiatives to address and prevent hate in Canada with the following objective:

Empower communities to prevent and address hate by fostering inclusion, resilience, and unity through community-led, intersectional projects that will contribute to reducing social isolation and fragmentation, and reinforce collective identity, building a more inclusive, socially cohesive and united Canada.

Application deadline: The deadline to submit a proposal is October 22, 2025, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. If you have questions, please send an email to financementpmlcr-fundingmarp@pch.gc.ca.


Local Festivals — Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage 

Local Festivals component provides funding to local groups for recurring festivals that present the work of local artists, local artisans, local heritage performers or specialists, and local First Nations, Inuit and Métis cultural carriers. This includes the celebration of 2SLGBTQI+ communities and Indigenous cultural celebrations. 

Application deadlines: October 15 for festivals starting between July 1 and August 31 of the next calendar year. If you have questions, please send an email to info@pch.gc.ca


Canada Retraining and Opportunities Initiative – Funding program 

The Canada Retraining and Opportunities Initiative supports communities and workers significantly impacted by a mass layoff. It provides funding for community-based projects that bring together local organizations to support workforce planning and reskilling opportunities. 

Application period: Eligible organizations can apply to this continuous intake by submitting an expression of interest. Applications will be accepted until funding has been fully committed. If you have questions, please send an email to EDSC.DGOP.ICPPPE-CROI.POB.ESDC@servicecanada.gc.ca 


Enabling Accessibility Fund – Youth Innovation Component  

The Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) is looking for dynamic youth who want to demonstrate leadership and a commitment to their communities. Through this process, youth volunteer their time to build a more accessible Canada.

Light House has launched a unique program that provides tailored expert services to address targeted business challenges in order to support growth, advance competitiveness, and enter new markets. This program is provided free of cost to British Columbia businesses in the built environment sector that are seeking to minimizing waste, maximizing the use of resources, and design products for long-term adaptabilityreuserecycling, or repair.

Francophone Immigration Support Program

  • There is no specific deadline for submitting a project concept to IRCC as part of this program.
