Light House has launched a unique program that provides tailored expert services to address targeted business challenges in order to support growth, advance competitiveness, and enter new markets. This program is provided free of cost to British Columbia businesses in the built environment sector that are seeking to minimizing waste, maximizing the use of resources, and design products for long-term adaptabilityreuserecycling, or repair.

Community Investment

  • New Gold’s Community Investment Program reflects our belief that communities should benefit from our operations in both the short and long-term. We invest in sustainable community and social development and strive to support initiatives and projects that have meaningful and long-lasting positive impacts within the communities where we operate.

2 Billion Trees

  • Range of funding available, to a maximum of over $1,000,000; 50 – 100% of eligible project costs for Indigenous-led projects, Up to 50% for projects by all other applicants 
  • Deadline: May 15 and September 18, 2025

Local Festivals – Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage

  • up to $200K; April 30 – for festivals starting between January 1 and June 30 of the next calendar year
  • October 15 – for festivals starting between July 1 and August 31 of the next calendar year.

Sustainable Affordable Housing Fund

  • Capital; up to a max combined financing of $10M and up to 80% of total eligible costs
  • Ongoing.

Regional Innovation Ecosystems in British Columbia

  • Up to 100% of eligible project costs that have been incurred and paid
  • Ongoing.

Affordable Housing Fund

  • Funding available through long-term low-cost repayable loans, forgivable loans and/or contributions 
  • Ongoing intake.

Affordable Housing Innovation Fund

  • Undisclosed funding amounts 
  • Ongoing intake.

Francophone Immigration Support Program

  • There is no specific deadline for submitting a project concept to IRCC as part of this program.
