The Kamloops District & Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Kamloops Immigrant Services is offering an exclusive Intercultural Competency workshop on March 25th, designed to create more inclusive and resilient workplaces!

Who Should Attend:
This workshop is for anyone in the community who wants to learn how to create more inclusive environments for their coworkers, clients, or their broader community. Whether you’re new to EDI or looking to deepen your understanding, this session offers valuable insights to make a positive impact.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Understanding Unearned Privileges: Explore the unearned privileges we all have and how to transform them into strengths that foster stronger relationships, communities, and support for marginalized groups.
  • Lead with Empathy: Learn about tools that empower teams to foster inclusivity and navigate workplace challenges effectively. 
  • Practicing Allyship in Action: Gain practical insights into what effective allyship looks like and how to apply it to create positive, inclusive change.
💡 March 25th – Privilege and Allyship in Action: learn how to transform our privileges into unique strengths and superpowers, using them to uplift those around us and become stronger allies.
